Fiann MacLeod is a Scottish cinematographer originally from the Isle of Skye and based in Edinburgh. He is currently on the inaugaral year of the NFTS x Sean Connery Talent Lab. 

As a native Gàidhlig speaker, Fiann is passionate about strong characters and stories from all cultures—especially those under-represented on screen.

Through his cinematography, he explores themes of otherness, isolation and community and often experiments with different media. His work aims to explore the emotion of movement and colours whilst keeping story at the heart of every frame.
